Research on the Pathogenesis and Pharmacological Intervention of Neuropsychiatric Disorders
The team investigates the mechanisms of neuropsychiatric diseases caused by abnormal cell communication and searches for drug targets. They evaluate the physiological and pathological mechanisms of these diseases at the molecular, cellular, and clinical levels. Using in vivo electrophysiology, ex vivo patch clamp, and two-photon calcium imaging, they reveal neuronal activity in various regions. They combine optogenetics, chemogenetics, and virus tracing to map upstream and downstream circuits. The team aims to restore nervous system homeostasis through behavioral, electrical, and drug intervention strategies.
