For this reason, he suggested that relevant universities be encouraged to build a "5+3" integrated geriatric medicine talent cultivation model based on their own conditions and the disciplinary characteristics of geriatric medicine. They should make overall arrangements for the five-year undergraduate education and the three-year master's professional degree postgraduate education and training process, as well as the teaching of postgraduate degree courses and theoretical courses for standardized training of resident physicians. Promote the organic integration of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in geriatrics, basic medical courses and clinical medical courses, as well as professional courses and humanistic quality courses.
